17th century Felddegen or Walloon - Price: $2200 in Surrey, North Dakota

This was part of a museum collection of Carl Beck, a Swiss author, politician and collector. The blade is struck with Passues running wolf and cabalistic numbers xxxx. The maker of this sword going by the style of wolf was Johanes Wundes xxxx-xxxx, the numbers may well be the date it was made or just important numbers to the maker. The guards are pierced with stars and circles, thumb ring, bars are shaped like phalanges which is quite rare and held in place by two original screws. The lense shaped blade is 30.5 in long, 7/8in at the ricasso and very very slightly loose, weight is 1lb 10.5oz without the home made teak scabbard. Very motivated to sell so any decent offers will be considered.
